Beginning Knitting

Have fun learning the basic knit stitch, as well as how to correct common beginner mistakes, while creating a lovely garter-stitch scarf or hat. No previous knitting experience required!!

We will be knitting with chunky weight yarn 300 – 400 yards for a scarf. This way it knits up fast and you can wear your creation quickly! Have with you on class day circular or straight needles in a size determined by your yarn choice. Our friendly staff will help you pick out a yarn you will love and needles that correspond! We have lots of yummy, soft yarns to choose from!

Cost: $25, plus supplies, to be purchased in advance of class day if possible. If not, please arrive early to choose your yarn and needles!

Fridays 10:30 am – 12:30 ..starting January 23rd

Please call ahead to register. We require at least three people to offer the class rate of $25. Bring your friends for a relaxing outing together! Knitting is often more fun when you share it with others!
